Explore Japanese culture with MattapAnime on Japan Day.
Discover popular and classic literature, manga, and anime from the Land of the Rising Sun, try on an authentic kimono or yukata, or make origami. Visit our writing station to practice hiragana and katakana. Challenge your brain with
sudoku and nonograms. Refreshments will be served. MattapAnime (or Mattapan Anime) is a local club devoted to studying Japanese language and culture that
meets at the Mattapan Branch.
