A Teahouse Re-imagined
12 - 21  May,  9am - 6pm

Kirkland Gallery (40 Kirkland St. Cambridge, MA)

project TEAhouse is an installation re-imagining a Japanese tea house in the US, design-built by architects at Harvard Graduate School of Design.
Mixing traditional Japanese construction techniques with familiar and recycled materials, the project translates the experience of the Japanese tea house to the American context.
As well as this spatial installation itself, we organize events you can enjoy Japanese green tea and experience tea ceremony.

Daily events will be held from informal tea gatherings to Japanese tea ceremonies conducted by Boston Urasenke and Harvard-Radcliffe Chado Society.
