Remis Auditorium, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

Through recent projects, hear how Pritzker Prize-winning architect Fumihiko Maki’s lifelong dedication to two core principals has yielded internationally recognized buildings and fostered dialogue about the importance of architecture in everyday life. He integrates available technology and appropriate building materials into high-quality architecture regardless of location, type, or scale, and pursues form and space that can be shared by all stakeholders—owners, users, visitors, and passers-by. Maki’s renowned projects include the Aga Khan Museum in Toronto (right), the Yokohama Island Tower, and the MIT Media Lab.
