Young Japanese Explorers Today: Trends in Study Abroad and Other Adventures

With Speaker Motoko Day

Meridian Room, 50 Milk St. 5F,
Boston, MA 02109

Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 12 - 1PM

You know about Japanese explorers from the history books but who are the young Japanese people out exploring today? How have study and work abroad patterns changed in the past decades? Are there cultural differences between Japanese and American young explorers? Motoko Day has been helping young Japanese and other foreign students arrange a variety of experiences abroad, especially in America, since 1997. Ms. Day will share stories and trends with us about young Japanese explorers who may be in the history books in another decade or two.

Please note that the we often take pictures at events for our records and sometimes for use in public media such as Facebook and blog posts. Registering for an event generally signifies acknowledgment that your likeness may be used in these ways. If you are not comfortable with this, please let us know and we can accommodate you.
