a workshop with Richard Milgrim

The Emerson Umbrella will present a special workshop with renowned Japanese tea ceramics artist Richard Milgrim.
Milgrim will demonstrate some of the primary forms used in the practice of Japanese Tea Ceremony such as the tea bowl (chawan), water container (mizusashi), flower vase (hanaire) and tea caddy (chaire) during the first part of the program. Then from 4 to 5:30 pm he will deliver a slide presentation to be followed by a question-and-answer session.
