This concert will feature music for koto (long zither), shakuhachi (bamboo flute), and voice. From folks songs and storytelling to performing on stage, this concert includes the audience in the path that Japanese koto students take toward their first menjo (exam). Tufts student Eli Kohlenberg will play a shakuhachi piece he is learning from Elizabeth Bennett.
