Boston/Kyoto 60th Sister Cities Anniversary: Tree Planting

Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM

Boston Public Garden,
Boston, MA 01951

Did you know that Kyoto and Boston have been sister cities since 1959? Kyoto is also Boston’s first-ever Sister City!

To celebrate the 60th anniversary, the Rotary Clubs of Kyoto South and Boston #7 invite you the international friendship ceremony at which a Japanese Stewartia tree will be planted in the Boston Public Garden. This is a rain or shine event.
