Class - Japanese Textile Dyeing: Shibori with Indigo dye

This workshop is an introduction to the Japanese traditional craft of shibori using indigo dye. You’ll learn basic resist techniques such as binding, folding, wrapping, clamping etc. and experiment creating various patterns and designs. Bring home indigo dyed fabric that can be used for a quilt, wall hanging, scarves and/ or napkins. All materials are included in this special workshop limited to 8 students.
